Hey kids!
My name is Deke, I'm 50 and I've been playing bass since I was 14. Gee, you'd think I'd be better by now. I live in the Kansas City, Missouri area. Deke sings and plays and writes his own stuff, Roots Rock, Rockabilly, Country, etc. I play a Rick 4001 (tuned down to a B), a Vox Panther (normal tuning), and I just took up bass fiddle (I love beating on that thing!). My amp is an old Peavey somebody gave me.
I'm not very interesting, not too good looking, I ain't got much going but I sure love to play.
