Beautiful lines, as always... ("Lost in cul-de-sacs of conscience) but you really lost me on this one. I read it a few times and I'm pretty sure that somebody died but that's as far as I can get.
Definately it's DEEP into the "poetry" category...again, that doesn't necessarily disqualify it as a potential song if it's done in the appropriate genre, like "new wave folk"? (did I just coin a new category? LOL)
You know the type I'm referring to I'll bet...it's a hecka more eloquent than most of the lyrics in the style I'm trying to define.
