hmmm... I can add to your list -

- have a producer interested enough in your & your look to have you coach with a local voice teacher, get pro photos done, produce a demo for you... and waltz around cancelling sessions & putting off recording til they lose interest & write you off
- all the other ways folks with talent dillydally around thinking their looks will get them through or the world is holding its breath until they decide to show up
