Howdy Donna...
Great nostalgic trip there!! Sure can relate to this one, although I never did the dynamite thing. Two very minor thoughts for you. Your last line of V2 is shorter than the other last lines. Wondered if that was any problem for you musically. The other thing was..back then...canning was usually done by "wimminfolk" so I thought it might be more appropriate to say Mama's Mason jars. Still a fine piece of writing anyway.
