Hi Pam, I was certain that this dynomite issue would come up. <grin> Please allow me to explain:
Most fishermen, or fisher women, will know this I suppose, especially those living in the south, but by using dynomite, which is an illegal practice btw, the fish are stunned. They then, immediately float to the top of the water, where you can reach down and scoop them into a net. <grin>
I hope that this clarifies the meaning of the line a bit more.
