I am affiliated with BMI, and I received regular royalties from my recorded songs (3) that were recorded in the UK and played on radio stations in Spain/Denmark/Italy.

Also my first airplay came from the BBC Country station in the UK, and BMI sent me my first payment for that song on the radio.

Not big bucks, these were Indie releases that I pitched myself, but I have had a couple of holds since I moved to the States, and I have three publishers in Nash who are (hopefully) pitching the songs they have in their catalogs.
Big trees from little acorns...maybe.

Just gotta keep on plugging away...
