i love banter. personal banter though - not that of a self deprecating nature. i do LOVE a good storyteller though. i always really enjoyed james taylor's music but after seeing him perform i was blown away. he was just so at ease and i was drawn into his stories and laughing at his jokes the whole time. his music made me respect him. his banter made me love him. jewel's another one who's fun to listen to between songs. even though there are some songs i want left to my own interpretation, if there's a great story behind a song, i wanna hear it [Linked Image] it makes me like the artist better and want to know/hear more.
