Dom, that's actually an interesting philosophical argument. I'd be curious to hear how others here see it as well.

Personally, I wouldn't describe myself as a performer. I've always been more of a studio guy. That's the role I've enjoyed most throughout my musical life.

For example, the original Suno version of "The Language Of Your Eyes" was over six minutes long. I created multiple covers, edited and shortened stems, combined parts from different takes, and shaped the final arrangement. On some songs I even add my own recordings, although I didn't do that on this one.

So while AI is part of my workflow, I still see myself primarily as someone who writes, produces, edits, mixes, and molds recordings into a finished track. That's much closer to a studio producer's mindset than a performer's, at least in my view.
