Dom,

If you are going to argue about everything, you should try being right about something, at least, every couple of months.

In vintage rock, what bands get the most airplay in 2025?

Google Search
Based on classic rock radio airplay data from 2025 (so far), the vintage rock bands that consistently get the most airplay include:

AC/DC

Aerosmith

Bon Jovi

The Black Crowes (among the "youngest" vintage acts still heavily played)

Blue Öyster Cult

Eagles

Guns N' Roses

Journey

Kansas

Lynyrd Skynyrd

Ozzy Osbourne (solo and with Black Sabbath, implicitly)

Pink Floyd

Queen

Rush

Scorpions

Steve Miller Band

Tom Petty (solo and with the Heartbreakers)

Whitesnake

Radio playlists often focus heavily on their biggest, most iconic hits (e.g., Queen's "Bohemian Rhapsody," Guns N' Roses' "Sweet Child O' Mine," Journey's "Don't Stop Believin'," etc.). While the specific ranking can shift, these bands and artists are mainstays of the "classic rock" format.
