Why would it attract a laugh?
It does offer legal protection for personal assets, so any action is against the LLC
As a tax vehicle, it does nothing really. It is taxed as if the company does not exist
So if you did so for a specific purpose, it is a smart move no matter how much money flows through it
If writing ever becomes work I think I'm going to have to stop
