Well we all gotta start somewhere Yeah but I don't think online, the fans you make are real fans. It requires no effort to click a like, or add yourself to an artist fan base. They're there anyway. If somebody gets out of their house and goes to see you at a gig, then that's more a real fan my opinion anyway. I think the Internet is too crowded with millions of artists everywhere. I think going back to live performance in bars and venues is a new way to build a following suddenly.
