I know, who???? He's been a fixture in NYC underground music for a long time. Believe he started as a punk rocker at 14.
Decades later still indie and unknown... seemingly.
He's been a favorite of mine for a while and recently he had a spinal stroke.
A benefit and an album of covers of his sings was released
Never think an indie doesn't have influence.....
I'm like nobody knows who this guy is
But look at the list of artists who covered him here.
Bruce, billy joe Armstrong, counting crows, lucinda Williams, graham parker, the guy is known and well known. Shocking to me I thought he was just an indie. But I always thought he was a great songwriter, so do mega artists....
I met him in my had no idea he was that respected.
