I think it's an excellent lyric and the Udio(?) software did a fantastic job of putting them to music. Personally, I had no issues hearing and understanding the lyrics, but everyone's listening experience is different. I get Gavin's comment, but I prefer the bigger sound here and the Nickelback-like production fits it well for me. Also, keep in mind given the length of the lyric, a slower tempo would make this a pretty long song . . . as it stands, the production keeps the ear's interest.
The only nit here is the sudden stop and start of the tune . . . but I guess that's a software issue thing.
You should get a lot of use of this program, Carroll. It will be good to hear a lot more of your stuff put to it.
