I heard none of that and neither did you .
Songs are meant to be heard, but when you can't hear the lyrics how are you judging it well written? Not true. I have some hearing loss at higher frequences but the mids and the lows seem to be there mostly. I listened to the song through some old Boze computer speakers that sit on my desk. Every word is discernible. Your issues are either with your speakers or your hearing. If you truly cannot hear the lyrics, you might want to get your hearing tested. As for vagueness...nothing about the lyrics struck me as vague. The line that I quoted was so evocative that it caused me to imagine the scene and the ground shaking.
