I'd tell them "thanks for the tip". John  Lol At the very least, I'd say..."We are checking with our accounts receivable department and will call you back and let you know when the issue is resolved. And while I have you on the phone, what is the weather like in Romania this time of year?"  If someone is that gullible, it is going to be hard to offer them any advice that will protect them. The problem is that they want it to be true...and that desire precludes critical thought. And will the next time too.
