Keep in mind that this is an opportunity for you beyond this kid and her Mom... make sure you stay positive and connect with all the people involved, the players, studio staff, etc. and everyone else involved. Any of them may be an important connection for you or them (it's always gotta be a two way thing). Experiencing a failure regardless of the circumstances is STILL an opportunity for something good to happen later.
