It seems like updating your Mac OS (if that's possible, from 10.5 to 10.6) is one solution, provided that Macs are "upgradable" like Windows is..through updates of some kind.. Yes it's upgradable. But the Mac techs told me it would probably effect my 4,000 Logic Pro projects - YIKES! Received this from the Kontakt techies: Kontakt 5 and Kontakt 5 Player are not compatible with Mac OS X 10.5 at all. The only Mac OS X version which supports Kontakt 5 / Kontakt 5 Player "5.3.1" is Mac OS X 10.7. Unfortunately, there is no work around to this limitation. You would need to use the recommended version of Kontakt with the sample library, so this would most likely require a higher operating system version.I'm dealing with Kirk Hunter in making an exchange. I once let him use one of my piano & violin tracks as a Kirk Hunter violin demo. Hopefully that will give me some leverage. Best, John
