Thanks for your very sane and thoughtful response.
And I, too, appreciate a healthy discussion between disagreeing parties. Sadly, these discussions, more-often than not, tend to devolve into something more akin to a barroom brawl than a healthy, productive debate. Cheap shots and all.
I am certainly a bit younger than you, 44. But, I think that I have lived through enough to have developed a perspective informed by history, as well.
