I just found it interesting that nobody is boycotting songs or top artists because of their support for the "rebel flag"" as they like to call it but they flip their lids when an image of a woman kissing another woman comes on the radio. I don't know. It doesn't leave good feelings.
Darius Rucker wrote a song about the flag flying above the state house in south carolina and he got death threats and hate mail.
The flag is a symbol of oppression and has no place in contemporary america and yet its still mainstream in the US in the entertainment and political world. Why? Because enough people still accept it.
