In the final rounds, the number of possible battles is equal to the number of songs in the round multiplied by that number minus one, divided by two. So in the final round in March, there were 37 songs. You could judge a total of 666 rounds ((37 * 36)/2). Every song gets paired up against every other song, but cannot compete against itself. It's almost definitely like this for normal rounds as well. They probably don't list the max combos because no one could humanly judge that many rounds
