Mackie, Just like lonesome, this one cuts deep. And there's a lot of lonesome in this one. That telecaster fits your vocal phrasing. The lyrics are deep down in the blues. I like this one. It's good to hear a new one from you!

DAN--
I APPRECIATE YOU LENDING AN EAR TO ANOTHER BLUE ONE--I GUESS IT WAS MEANT FOR ME TO HAVE A TELE AND FENDER CHAMP AMP--IF I COULD JUST GET MY HARP PLAYING TO BLEND IN--I WAS JUST LISTENING TO YOUR RE-RECORDED MP3--'TIS MUCH BETTER--
I USE THE GARAGEBAND AUTOTUNE ON VOCALS TO NUDGE THEM CLOSER TO CORRECT--SOMETIMES I NEVER GET THERE--
WE JUST HAVE TO KEEP WORKING ON THE LITTLE THINGS!
THANKS FOR YOUR FEEDBACK ON A COLD NIGHT!

Hey Mackie. Pretty song, nicely done. I have one small sug for consideration. I'd like hearing a third line to the bridge before solo--that returns down, then let the chorus lift.
Nice write, I can hear some cool stuff that could be done with the production.

Hey there Buddy!! I've been away, for a while....it's so good to hear your sterling sound in these ear phones. And although it's only been a year, I think, you sound as good as I remember. Still writing good stuff! Hope to see you around, more often! -Tom

I had to take a listen after reading it's a Tele through a Champ.
I love how the mic is picking up the acoustics of the tele and the electric at the same time. I know you probably did this with one mic and that's why there's this cool bleeding going on.
Overall I really liked the feel and delivery and your vocal was very believable and heart felt.
Thanks for posting this I really enjoyed it.

NELSON--
Thanks for listening--this is one I almost didn't post--It was a one time through recording in Quicktime, then edited in Garageband--usually I spend a lot more time, even up to a week, trimming and finessing parts!
It didn't sound like much to start with--but a friend said "that's my story--post it and see what happens"--so I did!
Maybe there's enough truth in it, to help those in the same circumstance!
I always listen when you stop in with your thoughts!

Lane--
I went to many Vern Gosdin concerts--HE WAS THE VOICE--Rememberin' one of the Country Greats brings back memories--I met him several times in the old days--
Like Harlan Howard used to say--"Puttin' a little truth in a song goes a long way"!
Thanks for taking a listen, and your feedback!

Hey Mackie,
I thought I had already commented on this, but I guess I didn't. I know I listened to it though and liked it so much I wanted to come back for another listen. Nothing like the solace brought out in a single voice and a tele. This is a beautiful emotion filled song in which the emotion is felt in every word of your vocal. Nothing to criticize here. Well done.

DAVE--
I'm glad you like this raw version--I guess sometimes, I get lucky with the emotion, and some simple chords--I appreciate your KIND THOUGHTS--They mean a lot to me--
Down the road we could do one together, perhaps!
I keep trying--

MFB--
I appreciate your thoughts--sometimes emotion comes out, because a real life situation, has been sparked by someone's true feelings!
Sometimes, I get lucky, using the right phrases!
