http://sirhick.com/I couldn't figure out how to link directly to the song on reverbnation. I put it first on my site. It should play right away. I am still analog so it takes me a while to figure things out. Well baby baby baby I said baby I just maybe baby baby I maybe in love with you well baby baby baby I said baby I just maybe baby baby I maybe in love with you if you'd give me the chance honey I'd love to dance all night long with you while the music played I'd been in a daze knowin' that my fairytale'd come true chorus Hello, I'm new here. I thought I would post a song and see what ya'll think.

Welcome to the forum Hey that's a cool toe-tapper - nice delivery too. Can really see this going over well played live at a bar with a dance floor. Scott

Hello Hick....or should I say Sir Hick? lol.
Hey, welcome to JPF. I hope you enjoy your time here. Cool, upbeat tune. Your delivery kind of reminds me of Robert Earl Keen and that's a good thing. Enjoyed the listen. Just a couple of tips for your consideration. First...post the lyrics with your song so the listener can follow along if some of the words can't be heard correctly. I didn't have that problem with your recording though. Still is helpful anyway.
Two...Make sure to take the time to review the works of others and they'll return the favor on your songs.
Lots of great forums here at JPF. You'll have fun and best of all are the folks here. They're very warm, caring and helpful.
Please come back and post some more songs.
Stevie

Welcome to JPF. You've got a cool honky-tonk song. It sounds more traditional than country music you hear today but I'm sure you already knew that. Dottie

Sir Hick, I loved it! It's a happy song. You kept it simple, simple, simple which is the best kind. My bluegrass friends would love it as well up here. Thanks for sharing and welcome to JPF. BOB

Yeah this is just a really fun song. Great stuff man, nice quality mix too. 50 Miles is good as well. The vocals on that one seem like they could use a little more compression it's jumping out too loud. Not a show stopper, just alarming when the system is cranked. Great work! Hey Fell of my rock, the start of that sounds like a cross between Mich Jagger and John Mellencamp.

Thanks Jakester. I appreciate the comments. I know what you mean on the compression, I will need to get to that. It is cool to hear you had it cranked! Thanks for checking out the other songs. I like the comparison with Mick Jagger and John Mellencamp. Never heard that before. thanks again
