A busy period has arrived! You can check my schedule on Reverbnation but in the short term, I will be playing with the Blue Island Beer Club at Grayl's Hotel in St. Pete on Friday 8/19 at 9:30pm. There will be a couple of other musicians performing also.
On Saturday evening 8/20, the Trop Rock Junkies are at the Yard in Tampa (8016 Meadowview Circle North) at a house/yard concert. Starting at 6pm, there is a pot luck dinner with lots of food, and then at 7pm, we play for a couple of hours. $15 cover.
And on Sunday I will be watching Alison Krauss in concert - how cool is that?

Hi Al,
The BIBC Grayl's performance went very well - lots of fun in a great location. We will be at the Ale and Witch on Friday in St Pete and are hoping for dry weather!
The TRJ Yard gig in Tampa was outdoors and the stage was a kind of Tiki Hut. We were mostly set up under the hut when the storms arrived! Got plastic bags over the amps and speakers as the rain blew sideways. Finally the rain subsided and we started playing while the audience sat in the drizzle under umbrellas. A success from that point forward.
The TRJ will be at the Hideaway on Saturday which is indoors, safe from tropical storms and such.

"Stop the process I call 'waiting to live.' This is the worst type of procrastination, because there will always be another 'reason to wait' lurking ahead. Once you are in this rut, it is nearly impossible to get out of it. Instead, adopt a 'Live as you Go' mentality." -Brian Austin Whitney
