Dictionary meaning: the belief that certain persons or members of certain classes or groups deserve favored treatment by virtue of their perceived superiority, as in intellect, social status, or financial resources. Exists in all organizations, businesses, interest groups, etc... the entertainment industry is high on the list. I'll take an individual over a groupie any day.  John

What's scary is that we are all average or better. I would think being average would necessitate being unique since average is a calculated “center” of everyone that exists. We're probably all better or worse than average. Now that's scary. John
