YAY!! I finally got a publishing offer ..  My Heart Has a Crazy Mind of its Own ... they were looking for edgy, country/pop songs with strong lyrics that would be sung by a woman over 40! cool LOL .. i kept looking for the "BUT" in the letter .. we would like to represent your song ... BUT .. but there was no 'but' ... yay! Just thought i'd share ... MERRY CHRISTMAS

Hi Brian - Thank YOU .. I am very excited I don't know who the artist is yet. It is a Broadjam pitch: Album placement: Established female Pop/Country artist needs hit songs I am having the contract reviewed as we speak. I would think once I have submitted all my paperwork, they would share who the artist is.. I am curious myself There is no 'hold' and no "advance" ~ it is a non-exclusive agreemement ~ Looks pretty standard. It is just nice to get a positive response.. Congratulations, Joanne. You sure deserve success, and "My Heart Has a Crazy Mind of Its Own" is one of the best "edgy, country/pop songs with strong lyrics that would be sung by a woman over 40" that I've ever heard.
