"Dead End Road", a song I wrote with John Griffin, was included on the recently released EP by The Chris Lane Band. A couple of days ago, their record hit #7 on the iTunes Top Country Album chart...right up there with Taylor Swift, Jason Aldean, Kenny Chesney, Zac Brown, Lady Antebellum, Keith Urban, Rascal Flatts, and The Band Perry. You can listen to clips and/or download mp3s at iTunes, or you can listen to Chelsea sing the whole song on ReverbNation.

That would qualify as a success story!! Big congrats!
I sampled the 4 songs on the EP -- pretty good stuff. Smooth and really fits in with the guy/girl groups of today.

Got my first royalty check for "Dead End Road" today.
Also, the girl who sang it got a ticket to Hollywood on "American Idol". She made it to the Top 60.

Was that airplay or mechanical royalties? Either way, it's good.LOL Everett, It was for downloads on iTunes for the month of December. I don't know if the song is getting any airplay, other than Chelsea singing it on a bunch of different television shows. Kurt
