For those of you in the USA, on NBC, on Mondays, there is a show called The SING OFF, that displays accapello singers. It is great fun. There are some really fantastic groups on this show. Last night they had the challenge to sing a rock song, and one of the groups chose Satisfaction, their name is Jerry Lawson and Talk of the Town. I enjoyed it, but enjoy all the singers on this show. Anyone else watching it? If not, you should catch it. They do not make music with their voices, as some of the other groups do , but it is great fun, love the oldies feel to this Stones song... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Eyqy3QhepbwHere is a group, Street Corner Symphony, one of many, that do use their voices to make music...loads of talent. Singing Radioheads, Creep http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QmQdYSwfgaAOn the Rocks version of Pour some Sugar on Me--FUN!!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PbNBTF54dgsKimberly

Hi Kim, AHHH, another fan ! We watched it last season (because the second place finishing group The Beelzebubs was from my alma mater Tufts)....and got hooked. How much fun is this show, huh? Who are you rooting for? You gotta watch NOTA, last year's winners sing "DOWN"... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MG0PiVtqLxMAnyway, I think it's going to be between Committed and Street Corner Symphony. We'll know on Monday!! Enjoy .... Beth

I stumbled across the show because I like Ben Folds, and figured if he was on the show it would have some integrity. I'm enthralled by it.
I love how the groups stand up and cheer, or sway and clap, for the other groups. I love that the judges are positive and constructive. Even have learned to love the "swan song" though I thought it was cruel the first time I saw it.
My bet is on the Backbeats. I think they have the widest range of talent -- the best arrangements, the most versatile group. The girl (Courtney) who does the percussion is amazing, and the lead vocalist is stunning.
Not that the other groups are anything short of excellent. Jerry Lawson's group is wonderful but they have limited range; and Comitted may have the best voices overall but have trouble loosening up into different styles.
I love watching this show!
