"The soul should always stand ajar. Ready to welcome the ecstatic experience."
-- Emily Dickinson><><><><><><><><><><><
Let my soul, in all my darkest times seek light and stand ajar, like tiny kids and fireflies, chasing beauty near and far Believing they can capture nature's highlights in their hands, God's candles gracing twilights, one of nature's brilliant plans
Never sealing gloom or doom within the spaces God has loaned, to all who seek some shelter, let my soul become their homes, let my dreams become their poems, let not one be left alone.
Our souls are made of finest glass, fragile but their built to bend, if we open up our closed minds, letting prejudices end. They can stretch miles to encompass, other souls to call our friends.
On a shelf beyond eternity, many pickled souls are sealed, tight within themselves a vacuum lacking wonders unrevealed.
The salt of their best labors, now soured lives where hopes were peeled, packed away... pickled to moulder, till death left them unfulfilled.
So let your souls all sit ajar, as seasons come and go, absorb sweet scents of summer air, all mingled with some snow, a pinch of leaves, some daffodils and tulips in a row.
Share kisses with a gentle grace, dry the tears of one you know, just flip your lid and let them in, make rooms where folks can go. not bottled up and hid away, but opened let it flow, you'll stain the glass sides of your soul, with colors angels know.

MFBIII,
Very Poetic and well written, as always. My favorite lines are the whole second verse. Excellent! Well done.
