Hey there! It's been a while. Hope my mates are all well? My parents played a card game called Canasta in the late 60s - the box was green with a Mexican chap with moustache and sombrero...never forget it. I had been working with a client in the songcave studio all morning and by Saturday afternoon we were finished tracking and my wife and daughter were in the city doing some shopping therapy... Ahhhh The serenity! So I used the time to track this one which I have been mucking around on for a while - my idea was to take a well worn style and take it somewhere new (well to me at least!) Thanks to our flamenco brothers and sisters for the inspiration! Hope you like it - doesn't need words methinks Canasta Our band SideShow Annie has nearly finished the difficult second album more info at SideShow AnnieTrouble has been since we built the proper studio after our first album we have been so busy recording everyone else's stuff! Have a wonderful day/night whatever El From Oz

I see a young Clint Eastwood in a poncho. On a horse. His hat pulled down low on his forehead against the midday sun. A small cigarello clenched between his teeth.
Good job.

Wow! That is some virtuoso playing in there. Would be great in a movie Western.

Great song, plenty of energy, did remind me of a Spanish Shadows, nifty guitar work. Well done.

Love that guitar. Real pro sounding. This is definitely ready to go into a movie. Good luck with it.

Thanks everyone for the wonderful feedback - it is very encouraging. I have some new tunes with vocals almost ready so I will put em up soon - I have been distracted My gorgeous wife Gillian just put a layby on an original 1966 Gibson ES175 as an early Xmas/birthday present and I can't stop playing it! (I decided to take the plunge and pay the balance - well I will be paying it off for the next year so I may as well get some mileage from it Gillian said there is not much point waiting till I retire to get the guitar of my dreams.....Steve Howe eat your heart out! It is the most wonderful tone of any guitar I have EVER played....and playing it through my 1973 Fender Twin silverface...I have already penned 3 songs in as many days on it...just gotta record em now. Regards to all El

Ha - I didn't even realize this post was yours - it's been that long Love it, Eliot! That's some great playing - and there is a great western vibe to this! Glad you're making music and that the studio is up and running. Good to see you again. Scott
