Hi Gang I promised myself that I would not let my 24/7 vestibular/vertigo or extreme back & neck stiffness, weakness and pain STOP me from doing this. So without further ado here's the first film for the song "Flight 74" from my up and coming Instrumental CD. SOUNDCLICK link has been added below thanks.FLIGHT 74 - 2:56http://bands.soundclick.com/share/137311I keep getting a bit of warbly sound from the video anybody else?

Very cool theme song, Mike! Has that vibe to it, I think..
Gotta love that NY drum sound you can deliver.. there's no way to get that with samples. Excellent guitar work too & those bass lines are serial KILLERS!
Lovin' every sec of it. It's really one that makes you feel like taking another spin!

Hey Old Buddy Thanks, great to see around again. Hopefully someday I'll have someplace to shop them to for "something" They are a great way to bounce back against my vocal songs and the whole shopping/market of the vocals songs. See there's no WAY any of these can be a hit so i don't have to spend one second thinking about it Thanks Mike

Kevin Ya know what's funny Kev, I contacted Soundclick and they replied saying "Try using your "Point To You Tube" button to load your video. LOL I wrote back saying " why can't I post the video on Soundclick? If I wanted to post it on You Tube I would have in the first place lol I have a You Tube account but I prefer to use Soundclick for one simple reason. 1) I's a paid VIP account 2) You Tube is a BIG distraction, the fact is, people's eyes and ears swim there and they can't focus,,, too many things POPPING UP and two many vids on the side bar, vids with chicks as well lol There two simple reasons!

Ha, ha -- I like the vids with the chicks.
Can you maybe upload it as a WMV file also? I don't like quicktime with windows, so I probably don't have all the proper stuff downloaded.

Lovin' every sec of it. It's really one that makes you feel like taking another spin! Thanks Mags I like that Serial Killers! I tease the kids or my friends here at the studio when someone does something good or cool I cuff em Or if it's me I put my two wrists together I then say "murder"!! you killed that! lol I hope too have at least 4 films for the CD, and even one with OTHER PEOPLE lol as others songs have others in it besides me. The guitar - I wanted drums since i was three years old, my parents said NO! They gave an accordion and then a little organ. I wasn't satisfied till I got my first Guitar. An acoustic from a store named Korvettes, I was seven years old. Put it down finally at age 18 or 19 to play bass for a chance at a major showcase for a major record label.. Life has never normal since or quite right really Thanks Mike

Great video! Did you throw those les paul volume swells in just for me? Wonderful to watch you in action. The concentration level might be incredible to compensate for your balance issues.

Music is his drug of relief! I've seen it in person. Hates pills, so he does music when he can. Sometimes though when there, he couldn't play or do much, so we went to his doctor's and that was it. But when he starts to play or record, he plows over the pain and dizziness with relentless happiness of just being able to still play and record. Loving Music is one powerful drug, that's for sure!

Here's the premise. A guy playing all of the instruments to a tight sounding instrumental. Not really showing his face, but the viewer/listener can tell it's the same person. They ask, who is this guy? That's the concept that I get out of it.

Yep! While many of us play one thing really good and tinker with other instruments, even some very decently, Sub plays each as if it is his only one! I play drums, but am not a drummer. Etc. for other instruments I mess around with. He reminds me of Stevie Wonder (minus the hits!). LOL But a great natural at many instruments. Makes them all look easy to play, until you "try" to do the same exact thing. Much how Joe DiMaggio was said to make catching any ball look easy.

Loved it, Mike. Toward the end, I would have liked to hear the bass a little louder at the part where you do a lot of intricate fingering. Had to go back and listen to the Brooklyn song. I always liked that song.

Kevin YES! yes I did Kev.. They were in the song but i thought of filming them for you. Ahd you in mind the whole time I was doing them. You must be a "Swell Guy" lol Geez I hope your wife can find some relief. I CAN"T believe how bad I've gotten. I also can't believe what we can get used to. (to a degree) Part of the reason why I stay up so so late is that I just don't wanna get up and start the next day all over again...Thanks Mike

Hey John Good to see ya hear buddy... Yes I hate drugs, Prescription drugs yikes! None of them EVER worked on my vertigo including meclizine. My back & neck are becoming intolerable now though, pain is GREAT dis-tractor of vertigo But I would choose the back & neck over the vestibular problem. Like I always say "You can't Rocky through that crap"If I can sit up somewhat then I can play, and once I play or create, then my heart, soul and a good part of my mind is at peace. It's when I'm most happy personally. I thank God for this gift, and I'm thank my illness for making me 100X more aware and sensitive to everything... And for slowly turning me into a monster in this studio, the sicker & weaker I get the better I become! Ears!! especially.

Had to come back for another listen....my wife is my muse and my best critic...and she is from New York..she heard your stuff..thought it was great...I wouldn't mention this (I agree with her BTW) but she was married to Skip Spence who played guitar/drums with the Jefferson Airplane in the sixties...(you may be too young to remember...lol)...Although Hendrix is her fav....well...she loves your licks...
Just thought ya might get a kick outta a new fan...

Larry Hi Larry Thanks so much again. And tell your wife thanks too. Of course I know The Airplane and I'm wearing a Hendrix shirt right now I had to sing the other night for someones recording, no warm up time of course, so I quickly sang " Heaven On Earth" from The Platters, the guy looked at me and said - "I never expected that to come out of your mouth" lol Great music is so easy to hear/see & FEEL no matter when it's from or where it's coming from... Fun music as well, This song was pure fun, It's so simple and has a feel to it, a place or a pocket none of my others sit in. Simple yet it takes some skill as well as pure feel to execute it. While I love Rock and R&B you know I was feeling Jaco Pastorious in that breakdown section My love all various musics are all over this piece. It's got "Genesis" all over it as well. Add some vocals and the ending could be "Stevie" Yeah I Wish! lol Today I'm nauseous dizzy weak and stiff as a board, just useless you & your wife's response helped me feel better THANK YOU

I promised myself that I would not let my 24/7 vestibular/vertigo or extreme back & neck stiffness, weakness and pain STOP me from doing this. Yeah.....just keep on forcing yourself to play and record. I bet you forgot your pain when you were in the midst of it! Cool video and song. Excellent playing. The time signature (7/8?) sets it apart. Maybe it will not be a radio hit but it could go places as a soundtrack.

I'm too lazy to re-mix it though lol The "Brooklyn Song" yes definitely my most popular one. The one that was written as a goof.
