Linda posted it on facebook. She said that he's having 4 tests today to figure out where they are at with this...I thought all you folks that love Brian like I do would like to know...very very sad...I hope and pray that he can get through this.

I have been pming with Brian on certain projects, and one of the things he has asked is that his health not be discussed publicly...for a variety of reasons. While none of you could know that (and Herbie, I understand your posting this thread out of concern and wanting to share) it's his wish that we keep the health issue on the quiet side. I guess Linda posting it on Facebook made it a public issue, but I'm just passing on what he had said to me. PMs are probably better at this point, or cards even. I'm praying for him too.

Rumors of my demise are greatly exaggerated... well... perhaps not so greatly, but fortunately for me, the grim reaper was repelled once again. 12 hours ago I thought I had zero chance at a future but after a re-evaluation by additional doctors, I can push forward, not quite as aggressively as I want (for example, I am not allowed to meet my goal of playing Golf on my Birthday Friday which was to be my own little physical therapy improvement landmark goal) but after avoiding death twice, I'll consider that achievement enough for the moment.
I just got back home, a little weaker and a little more shaky than I left it, but no less happy and hopeful for the future!
Thanks sincerely for the well wishes.. I got to read them in the hospital during a particularly dark time frame there and it really helped!

Actually Brian, we may HAVE met years ago. We both graduated high school in 1982. Were you involved on your school's speech team or drama departments? I keep thinking that we have met at a speech meet or maybe the state drama conference.
