I enjoyed this song quite a bit.

couple of lines I thought could be improved on

mainly seemed difficult to rhyme into the vocals.

I would love to hear this with a banjo and slightly faster beat.. maybe that's just me.

But yeah, I liked it. Had me singing along

Hey Roy! Thanks for stopping and for your input. Yeah, you're right there is a bump in the road there. I think taking the 'and' out might do it. Banjo would sound great! Wish I could still play! Good call & glad you enjoyed the tune!

Thanks for the sugg. Roy! However, I think taking the 'and' alone out will git 'er done. What you have there makes it sound like he's dancing in his socks 'while' he' taking off his boots. Something I'd pay good money to see!

Hi David and Heather,

This is a really cute novelty number, and I loved the phrasing, I had zero problems.

I did think the music could be more interesting in the "two left feet" part of the chorus--it seems to be anchored too close to the ONE chord, and it got a little monotonous for me. With a lyric this clever, I'd try to get the music in that zone as well.

Kudos to Heather who spat this out with some wonderful phrasing, overall.
