That is so silly. I especially like the ad lib thing you do at the end of the song. LOL! Too cute.
"Grits is one of those country-boy words that is both singular and plural-like deer, elk and sheep. I think the singular is appropriate when there's a modifier that makes it clear one is talking about something specific. Like, 'Grits are good for you, but these here grits is tasty.'"~~Joe Wrabek

That was really well done. Zooming in on the silent lead guitar while the harmonica is doing lead was, well, precious.

Hey, Joe!
Thanks for watching. Yeah, we're working on a shoestring with a git 'r' done mentality. So not only did I not have all the footage I would have liked (the harmonica player for instance - who, by the way, is Kai's dad, Paul), we also did not shoot a precise sync with the final spoken part. As I started working with the footage I had, I decided to unashamedly embrace the low budget nature of the thing and use as many fx as possible to provide misdirection around the rather poor quality of the green screen work/lighting, while cutting together only shots that focused on the two lead performers in a way that hopefully brings out their exuberance at playing their music, while not taking things too seriously. All good clean fun. Looking forward to sampling your music. Thanks again.

Tricia
Thanks for watching and taking time to post a note. I'll pass your comments along to Laura.
Yes, it is a silly song. I really like the energy and joy of Laura and Kai. They're slowing down my aging process and teaching me new things about what music is for and what it can be.
All the best.
Don
