When Deborah Henson-Conant straps on her custom-built carbon-fiber harp, sparks fly. The Grammy-Nominated harpist/singer is throwing her own Birthday Bash concerts Nov. 21 & 22 at the intimate, historic Firehouse Center for the Arts on the waterfront in downtown Newburyport. Years ago, when she turned 19, Henson-Conant decided to publicly celebrate her dread of getting older by performing a Birthday concert.
