Well this Aussie girl is slowly getting better, I have had the flue twice now, and it's really taking it's toll on me. Very tired all the time, so I have rested well, and back to work tomorrow night. So here is my good news, regarding my very first song, and film clip of "Don't push my button". I was searching the web, for my video clip of my song, as Paul has the clip on his You Tube, so I googled You Tube "Don't push my button", and I was amazed to find that my video clip was on the NME TV Latest Music Video Clips. This is what it says at the top of there page where you can find my video clip. It says, watch the very best video's including NME's latest video interviews, the hottest You Tube video clips etc. I was overwhelmed, and it picked me up a little. Also I entered my song into the NAB songwriting competition here in Australia, I didn't win, but I was very excited when I got a certificate in the mail, and this is what it says. NAB songwriting competition Michele Bolton your entry into NAB songwriting competition 2008 is recognized as outstanding NAB encourages you to continue to develop your ideas, dreams and aspirations as a songwriter. Well that was good enough for me, there can only ever be one winner hah, but this Aussie thinks it's a winner anyway hah. Thanks for all your support. For those who haven't seen the video clip, here it is on myspace: http://myspacetv.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=vids.individual&videoid=35945164Your Aussie friend Michele

Good on ya, Michele! ( Is that proper Aussie speak? ) Kidding aside, congratulations! I can't view the video here at work (they block myspace) but I had a listen on soundclick...very nice! I have lots of half-finished songs, but nothing completed. Your success and recognition with a first song is a tremendous encouragement.

Hi Moker Thanks a bunch, this Aussie girl here is gonna keep pushing this song, I was thrilled to bits when I got the certificate in the mail, and that NME TV think, my song is one of the hottest You Tube video's. Yipee! I feel that "Don't push my button" has lots of potential, and I won't be giving up on it so easily. Working on my second song, and it's coming together real well, I can't wait to it's finished. Paul & I think it's better then "Don't push my button", so it's gonna be good. Your Aussie friend Michele

Goodmorning Iggy You brighten my day, and I'm pleased Don't push my button, puts a smile on your face. Golly gosh, I am so excited that I got a certificate, and I wasn't disappointed cause the competition, they wanted to use the song, to be performed at there NAB 150 year celebrations, and maybe my song just wasn't what they where looking for hah. I'm gonna frame it! Yipee! Thanks for your support, this singing/songwriting, is a costly process for this Aussie girl. I am currently working on my second song, and in about another four weeks I'm hoping it will be finished. Yipee! Your Aussie friend Michele

Hi Everett
Thanks so much hey, I was so excited to get my certificate!
No I didn't get to sing at Ronnie's funeral, but I am going to practice your song, cause I just love it. My Mum has just turned eighty, and I don't like to think about losing my Mum, but I know that I will lose her one day.
So big hugs, and thanks so much.

Hi Kaley
So nice to hear from you, how are you going hah? Golly I have missed so much here since I have been sick, I will have to catch up on all the gossip hah.
Thanks so much, I am looking forward to my next song. This song has taken months, and yeah, I can't move on to my next song until it's finished. I put my heart and soul into my songs, I want them to be good, as it costs me a fair bit of money each song, but well worth it. Expensive fun hah, but great therapy.
Big hugs Kaley
Your Aussie friend Michele
