Hey everyone. I didn't see a place for general introductions, so since I'm in (the Valley of the Jolly Green Giant) the shadow of the shadow of the Twin Cities, I thought I'd say "yo." Music is an on-again off-again hobby of mine. Pretty much off for the past 4 years. I don't consider myself a "musician" really. I can't read music. I know what FACE is, I guess. I've never strived to be successful at the business--mostly because I can't stand to practice. Listen to the stuff I've posted on the link in my sig and that should become quite clear. But for what it's worth, it's all original, and all me. Though I question drums pounded out on a Clavinova keyboard actually being "me." I've got background music working for a University of Northern Iowa promotional video (that was in the late 90s, I don't know if they still use it). I also did some voice-over and music for the University of Minnesota here and here. That's from Fall '07 and Spring '08. I did open mike nights for a short time 10 years ago and was in a cover band ~15 years ago. I can sort-of play guitar, piano, and sing. Sort of. That's about it. I'm a recovering TV news anchor/producer now working in county zoning. One hell of a switch there, I guess. Thank you all for having me! Robert

I'm not a recluse, I just have a farm with too much to do already when I'm not at my "day job." I'm not really a "performing" musician. I just tinker and record--the latter there only every few years. I'll scout out some of your posts so I don't ask a lot of questions that some reading will answer! With all that said, I will most definitely say "hi" if I catch you live. :-) Thanks again for having me!

Hi everyone... I just registered and made my first posted topic. This is actually my first reply in this forum. I'm introducing myself as a composer based in Monticello, MN. Although my primary focus is to place MY music on film, tv and with recording artists/publishers, I also provide a demo service as my source of income. My "day job" if you will...
