What: Monthly Songwriters Workshop
Topic: Success by Surprise
When: Saturday, August 9, 11 a.m.–1:00 p.m.
Where: Tsunami Books, 2585 Willamette, Eugene
Cost: $1 suggested
The Songwriters Workshop will host its next monthly session on Saturday, August 9, 2008. Our topic: “Success by Surprise.” Hear true life examples of how songwriters have found success when they weren’t even looking. Then learn how to get unplanned success for yourself.
Experienced and beginning songwriters are invited to listen to each other’s songs and share their comments about lyrics, music, structure, and other aspects of the craft and business of songwriting. Songs may be played live or presented on CD. Participants should bring 10 copies of their lyrics for feedback notes.
The workshop will go from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Tsunami Books, 2585 Willamette. Call Rocky Montenegro for details at 345-1956.
