Mike: thanks so much!!! To get this kind of feedback on just a worktape is really great (blush blush!! Thank you! My voice is welcome to anyone who is interested. I am very picky about what I choose to demo though, as I need to click with the song. PM me and let's chat!!!  Linda - Thanks and I will take you up on your offer for help with the links on my next post. I won't be posting for a while as I am spending the week with my musicians on my demo CD. Next step will be the studio and hopefully it will be out the door by the end of Nov. Thanks KevinP!!! And welcome to you too! Thanks Robert for your comments and ideas. Mike - We did collab; I forgot to answer that question. The words and story are mostly Marlenes. I just added some tweaks to the lyrics, music and voice!

I feel really left out now...there's no one in my family with that name!!! Maybe way down the tree...:( That's ok though, as about an hour and half ago, we added Isabella Carolyn to the family of Carlens, 9 lbs 1oz, 21 inches long. Born to my youngest of 6 siblings, Tara Jane!!! Everyone is doing wonderful...we all listened in on three way and several cell phones as she pushed...blood curdling screams and all! This was #2 for her. #11 Grandbaby. Thank the Lord!!!

Thanks...my sister is nuts...no epidural (painfree birth). 9 lbs is a big baby...believe me, my first was two months early and only 4 lbs. I felt mine, due to the urgency of the early birth, and she felt like she was a 10 lb bowling ball. LOL Too much info I'm sure. Thanks for the congrats!!
