This is just a fast folk-rock song that I wrote, about a vision I had once, that then turned into several dreams.
"FIREFALL"
(INTRO) FIRE I SEE FIRE I SEE.. A FIREFALL
(VERSE 1) In a clearing was a fire As the rain began to fall Where thirteen men would gather Twelve men had faces that's all Who could this thirteenth man be Who came to stand at this place And why did he repeat phrases From a white faceless face
(VERSE 2) Could it be that this man Who mocked me without a face Was there to let me know that One day I'd take his place This was a dream I had Where I'd venture to meet them all In a clearing by a fire As the rain began to fall
(CHORUS)
I SEE FIRE - I SEE FIRE I SEE A FIRE FALL I SEE FIRE - I SEE FIRE YEA I SEE.. A FIRE FALL
(VERSE 3) Could a dream become reality Could a dream become so real Could a dream be a vision Of the changes that I feel Could a dream be the answer To what's happenin' to me Could a dream be a sign That will set my soul free
(CHORUS) I SEE FIRE - I SEE FIRE I SEE A FIRE FALL I SEE FIRE - I SEE FIRE YEA I SEE.. A FIRE FALL
FIRE I SEE FIRE I SEE A FIREFALL

Mornin' Scoot,
Couple of questions....what phrases was he saying????
and faceless face seems a stumbler to me...the repetition...maybe out-of-focus face
I like where you are going with this...and a lot of folks will understand it right off the bat....wish I was in that advanced group.
dawg
Wisdom does not always accompany age. Sometimes age just shows up alone.
