Hi Folks,
It takes a long time to process photos for the web, but I thought I'd post the group photos at least. I'll try to update this as we go and you can see the various cities. Keep in mind that not everyone is in this photo. This is simply the people still there at the end of the show. The longer the show, the more often folks have bailed out. I expect the Chicago photos may appear very small.

Something like "Cincinnati show, 3rd from the top right" or "2nd over left of Brian" ...that is, if you don't have a clear identifying trait like Bob does. LOL! Just an FYI, we had a LOT more people at the Chicago show, but it was midnight and many had to work in the morning so only about 1/4th were still around for the group photo.

Keep in mind that in reality, not many of these folks post on the message boards. JPF is far larger than what happens on the boards. Only about 20% of our membership is involved here and only about 5-10% of the people coming out to a Roadtrip Showcase are even registered on the boards. I hope that starts making sense to folks who really feel like the "only" JPF is the one that exists here. We have folks here, we have folks who do the roadtrip stuff, we have folks who enter the music awards, we have folks who only read the newsletter, we have folks we correspond with regularly via email but who never come around here. It's a pretty vast organization out there. I wish everyone enjoyed message boards, but reality is it only appeals to a certain segment of people (me being one of them). Some of our most active and involved JPF members have never posted on the site. Some simply HATE message boards and others don't understand them and aren't interested in learning and others are just too busy (and still more still don't realize what is here even after years of telling them). So it's nice to see folks like Steve in person, but I think he was the only board user of the Minneapolis group before the show. (A couple more may have signed up since then).

There I am! Green shirt, behind the long-haired gal in the purple JPF shirt, up from the kid in the black T-shirt (he's my son's best friend Lee and our past next-door neighbor BTW). Lee JUST got his first guitar--it's an old bright blue acoustic that positively refuses to tune (help? I recommended new strings), but he's learned the riff to Smoke on the Water (of course!).
It was a VERY fun evening, even if I couldn't sing!

These Pics are GREAT! thanks for posting them Brian... Linda - I spotted you before I read your reply Brian - You look almost exactly the same in every photo you take lol.. Your even in the same place and position. So next year have the groups take a picture and we'll paste the same one of you in all of them lol Think of the wear and tear and time you will save. They were part of a band call Split 66 that played for the first time ever at that show. = )
Cardboard cut out? Maybe I should have some made and then we could set up shows all over the world the same night and I could be in all the group photos!
