Hi Folks,

I am energized now that we're off the songs and onto to finalizing the albums. I got the last 5 genres back from judges in LA today and we should have them all finalized in a week or so. I can't wait to share all this amazing music with everyone when the nominations come out. There's even a few famous names sprinkled in amongst the Just Plain Folks. We'll have over 75 genres for albums and app. 65 for songs. (I actually haven't counted them lately). We have a lot of new categories and nothing gets me more excited than diversity in our awards and really covering about every type of music you can think of in multiple languages.

We're going to post all the nominated songs on the site for judging so everyone can judge as many categories as they have time for and we won't be limited by the US mail and burning CD's. We will likely have SOME copies available on CD, but using the web is far cheaper, far faster and better in every way on our end.

Looking forward to hearing what everyone things. A few members got a sneak peak listen to some nominees in a few categories and were blown away.

Tomorrow I am taking a day off to visit my parents in Southern Indiana and go to the local Wine Festival. That should clear my head for the home stretch! I just wish we could fit all of you in the awards venue at one time.... but we'd need a football stadium and they're all being used! = )
