Hi Folks,
Happy Independence Day, or as it's known around the rest of the world: July 4th. = )
First, thanks to the 4 members who have already made donations. Between the 4 of them we're already at 178 dollars towards the new boards. Once we have an actual quote, we'll set up an official page to track it all.
We watched the Indy fireworks from the Lowes parketing lot tonight. Last year it was just a field. The area we live in is building up so quickly that everytime I leave for a Roadtrip there's new building and businesses all over the place.
Aside from the firework break, we've been pretty much working non stop the whole weekend. We did take a brief break to watch a great movie.. I suggest checking it out if you have cable on demand. It's called Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang. Stars Robert Downey Jr. and Val Kilmer and it's a film noir type movie set in modern times. Lots of mystery, comedy and a little vulgarity. Very funny and well written. One of the best crafted screen plays I've seen in a long time. I haven't seen any movies in a theater since last December when we saw King Kong. Anyone care to recommend any must see movies this year? I am looking forward to Pirates of the Carribean next weekend. That will likely get me in theaters. The last one was excellent fun.
Hope you guys got rested up. The real world starts up again tomorrow for most everyone.

Brian, I so wanted to see that movie in the theater, but ended up missing it. I rented it about a week and a half ago and it is so funny I was bummed that I didn't see it in the theater. Kiss Kiss Bang Bang was also quite original in its portrayal as well. Well tied together story, fun acting and as you say a really good movie. So good, I own it. Superman was fun. I saw it in IMAX. So didn't notice the 2.5 hours, I could have watched more. As for really good rentals: Green Street Hooligans. It's a very British movie, about Firms and Football (Soccer to the American's). A bit violent, but very good. Jody ------------------ Music That Makes Your Soul Happy! www.jodywhitesides.com

I've heard mixed opinions about Superman and Cars both. Some good, some said both were boring. I still haven't seen the DaVinci Code, but like many people, I read the book and want to see it. I was disappointed it got reamed so hard by the press. I can't imagine it's really THAT terrible. Although I did see 1 single horrible Tom Hanks film (and in my opinion the only truly terrible film he's made so far) and that was Bonfire of the Vanities. Ack. I still have scars from that one!

Just rented "The Worlds Fastest Indian" with Anthony Hopkins. Its about a New Zealander whose dream is to race his Indian motorcyle at the Bonneville salt flats in Utah. I highly recommend it - its a sweet movie filled with humor.
