Stan, you have a real talent for H&B (Hot & Bothered) songs. I think I better take a cold shower now. Good job. Joe www.soundclick.com/bands/7/joewrabekmusic.htm

Hi Stan,
Do you mean what I think I have corrected in the tag? (TAG 1) She (Lies) LIKES to Prowl in The Dark & Rub My Leg Real Tight OOOOO...(She's Got) One Sweet Pussy
Apart from that I should not have read this on a Monday Morning, night would have been better!
Best, Rachel

I was waiting till everyone else commented so there wouldn't be any witnesses when I poked my head in here to look around. Your title made me blush!!! ![[Linked Image]](http://www.justplainfolks.org/ubb/wink.gif) ------------------ "Shoot for the moon, and even if you miss, you will land among the stars." -- Les Brown http://www.soundclick.com/bands/8/triciabakermusic.htm

Stan,
Hey, you old shock jock! You definately make me laugh. Who are you going to sing this one for? Who are you going to get to sing it for you? Good we have a place like this where some of what we write can "get exposed". Good technical skills, as always, working with the details.
Keep writing.

HiDee Rev Skipper!
Waaal.."Alafia John's" just lined up a Well-Payin' Gig for us'n's this weekend...playin' a Birthday Party for a Veteran St Pete Police Officer. Won't be a Total Stag Affair...yet I know it'd Zing Up The Party a good bit...I think!
WILL be singin' "You're The Reason There's Road Rage" and "I Didn't Ask to Be Sent Here, Brother"...which I know The Crowd'll Appreciate, heh!
It's allus interestin' to see How Many Visits my "Serious Ones" get in-comparison to my "Wilder Babies" here.
I'm hopin' to get into Bill Dudley's Studio & cut "The Non-PC CD" before Summer's Out...& this'll be on it, fer sure. Far-Wilder Stuff's already Aired on Radio...& perhaps The Planet's ready for this'n'...I never know...I never care!
It's Just One More Lyric towards Whatever Hits!
Big Guy-Hug & One for Judi, too, Amigo! Happy Weekend, Stan

Stan,
Glad you're getting a chance to do some of your music. This coming week is "Apple Blossom Festival" in the little 7,000 person town of Payette, Idaho. Its the biggest civic bash of the year, with about 20 varied events from a parade down main street, to a carnival, to a rodeo, to lawn mower races, to a talent show at the local high school gym. Good local culture stuff. Thought I would enter this year, and have signed up to do so. I'm going to be asking my parishioners to attend as many events as they can work into their schedule.
If they let me, I'll be singing a couple cowboy songs I've written since arriving here in Idaho. The theme of the festival is "Boots, Chaps and Cowboy Hats"--which would make a good hook for a song, if it wasn't taken from an existing song in the first place.
We've got a band shell stage just across the street from my church in the city park. I go over there sometimes with my guitar. If you sit in the sweet spot in the middle of the stage, it has great acoustics. Think I'll see if we can get an open mic event going over there a few times this summer. We recently had a series of meetings in my larger church here, and invited people from a variety of congregations to participate musically. We had everything from kids with rock praise bands, to very traditional gospel song renditions. I like the variety, and would hope we could get a whole range of different musicians involved. There are a lot of churches in our area--far more than saloons. Still, I'd like to see venues for both secular and gospel music to be featured. We will see what happens.
As for me, I use my music pretty often in the course of a week in my work, but not nearly as often as when I was a chaplain Bible teacher with five classes of high schoolers coming through my room each day--plus the extra stuff.
Glad to see you still on the boards.
