Hi Folks,
We're working on getting some chapters going in Virginia. Here's a current list of awards entrants who said they were from VA. We have probably 3 times as many actual members in VA, but this is a starting point. If you know any of these folks, perhaps we can get them actively involved in starting some chapters?

Hi,
I new to Just Plain Folks and I was wondering if there is an JPF chapter in the Virginia Beach area? A couple of months ago, I contacted someone I read about in the local paper who was trying to set up a songwriters club. At the time he said that there wasn't much interest, but I gave him my name and number just in case he gets enough people to start meeting, but I haven't heard from him. So I was hoping there might be an active JPF chapter in the area.
Thanks

V.
We've never been successful getting a chapter going anywhere other than Roanoke and Arlington in VA and both of those chapters are now inactive as well. Part of it might be that we've never visited other areas of the state and gotten folks together. But in general, we've never had a lot of interest in that area.

Oh well, that's ok. I'll be moving to Jacksonville, FL this summer, so I will check to see if there is an active chapter there. Thanks for your response.

I happen to know Amy Henderson. She lives in Richmond, near me.
