Hey! My name is Jim and I am from Buffalo NY I am going to be visiting the OK City area from May 1st through the 12th on business. The reason for my posting today is I wanted to iknow if there are any "Open Mic" nights at any clubs there. I would like to check out some music venues or get together with some of the "Folks" from your chapter during my stay. There are plenty of open mic situations in the Oklahoma City area. The best advice that I can give you is that when you get into town, pick up an OKLAHOMA GAZETTE, it's our local independent weekly newspaper. The Gazette has a music section with listings for open mic nights. Also the OKC LIVE has listings for open mics. Both publications have an online presence, I do believe.
