Hi, this is only a very small thing but it means a lot to me. A month or so ago, My Three Kids Music (a Nashville publisher) signed 2 of my country songs ("I Wish" and "Blue Memories"). Congrats Simon, I feel the same way. It' feels great when someone likes my music enough to buy one of my CD's, or when someone wants to cover one of my songs. I've had several artists interested recently in demoing my songs and that alone makes me feel as if I at least have a chance. Congratulations Simon! Yes! No matter what, a legit publisher's signing is not an easy thing to have happen. I know,,,,24 years for us, and no ink for that event used yet. This IS one BIG step. MANY, (most likely), got turned down by that company before you! Now it's up to them to do their job. You obviously did yours with those two songs.
And if no cuts in the contract time, continue to shop them to other publishers. In fact, get some other songs to other publishers now, (if you haven't been trying already). Get that buzz going about you even more!

I just got done listening to:
"I Wish" and "Blue Memories".
Both of them have very beautiful classic style country melodies and the lyrics are charmingly suited!
Congratulations on your initial "well deserved" success.
