Hi Folks,
The time has come to kick start the Atlanta chapter. We're tried for a long time to get something going and Atlanta is too big a city and there's way too much going on musically to be in a holding pattern!
So if you want to help make something happen in Atlanta, let's do it!

Hello Atlanta Chapter. Nashville here. Good to see you guys working at it. You are all invited to join us here in Nashville at anytime. I am going to start hosting a once a month venue showcase for JPF here in Nashville very soon. If anyone wants to join us we are hosting a meeting here on April 13th , that's next Sunday from 2 to 5 PM. There will be a meeting and then a jam. Just bring drinks or munchies and your gear. There is more info on the Nashville Board. Maybe we can support each other and do some venue swapping. We aren't that far apart. Hi Atlanta JPF folks,
My name is Al Alvarez and I along with co-cordinator Mike Miulli have started a JPF chapter in Tampa. We have been very well received by many songwriters who had never heard of JPF. I would be glad to brainstorm with you and share mtg format info. Promotional Flyers we used for our kickoff mtg.etc.
Our next chapter mtg will be on the 18th of May and we welcome all JPFers to join us.

Yes, we are real excited about the Atlanta chapter. We are going at it one member at a time - lol.
Amber and I were just in Nashville on April 15 and love it there. Keep us posted as to everything you got going on.

Awesome. Before we can set up our first meeting we have to have at least 10 members. We are a few short so tell all your friends to e-mail us and let us know so we can get the list and send it to the home office to become an official chapter again.

Hey. is it open to all ages? i wish I could come but that is the day my band is in the battle of the bands here in atlanta. when you post for future events, can you also tell the age requirements. since i am only 15, i can't get into a lot of things

The JPF Meetings are at my home. The venues I play the Writer's Nghts at: Some allow anyone until ten PM. I always let any minors perform before curfew. WE will be there on the 24th but I think we are going to have to leave for KY for a performance. I have sent e-mails out to all the members in the chapter and if anyone did not get the e-mail then you need to be added to my membership list. Please e-mail me your e-mail.
In the meantime, we need to spread the word and get the chapter going!!!!
