Hi Folks,
I am planning a Northwest Roadtrip for late summer/early fall this year. We'd like to visit the following states:
Illinois, Iowa, Nebraska, Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas, New Mexico, Colorado, Wyoming, Utah, Idaho, Oregon, Washinton, Alaska, British Columbia, Montana, South Dakota, North Dakota, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Manitoba Canada, Ontario, Canada and Michigan.
This would be our longest distance Roadtrip ever if we hit all these states (I have a possible route worked out and it would likely be a 2 month long trip). It's to places where we've never done a roadtrip before (when we are done we'll only have 3 states left.. North and South Carolina, Hawaii)
We need help in all these states. If you live in any of them and can host us, help with shows. With a potential of 32 cities on this tour all to places we haven't visited before we'll need lots and lots of support!
Email me at justplainfolks@aol.com if you can offer help!
Here are some of the cities we are considering:
Chicago, IL Milwaukee, WI Madison, WI Minneapolis, MN St. Paul, MN Des Moines, IA Omaha, NE Kansas City, MO Topeka, KS Witchita, KS Oklahoma City, OK Amarillo, TX Albuquerque, NM Denver, CO Cheyenne, WY Salt Lake City, UT Boise, ID Portland, OR Seattle, WA Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada Juneau, AK Anchorage, AK Spokane, WA Couer d'alene, ID Bozeman, MT Yellow Stone National Park Little Big Horn National Park Rapid City, SD Sioux Falls, SD Fargo, ND Winnipeg, Manitoba Thunder Bay, ON Sault Ste. Marie, ON Macinack, MI Lansing, MI Indianapolis, IN
This is all exploratory. We need at least 10 active local members to do shows in these cities and we'd prefer to have at least 20 area members to make it worth stopping in each place. We are starting this early to give us the best shot of pulling that off since some of these cities are small and less populated than normal for us.
You can post here and email me both so we can get some momentum going or, if there isn't much interest, we can plan a different route or different area of the country.
Thanks,
Brian

Hey all,
I'm in the Seattle area. I perform all around and would be happy to perform if you make it to Seattle. I can also let the people around me know. You can count me on board, I can travel to Portland, OR as well.

I'm still trying to get it together here in Seattle, but I'm sure between Bill in Port Angeles and myself, we can get something rolling in time for the Roadtrip. ChrisEric, if you'll send me your contact info, I'll add you to the list and let you know when we've worked out the details for the JPF Seattle kick-off.
