Ready to add some effective percussion to your music or be a hit in the next BSA jam? Rob Werntz is a full-time musician in the U.S. Navy Band and has agreed to share some of his vast knowledge with us. An experienced percussionist who can play all styles of music and an excellent communicator, Rob will cover such topics as: the role of percussion; instrument and rhythm choices (i.e., what and when to play); playing technique; and how to prepare percussion charts. This workshop is designed for those who are not primarily percussionists but who enjoy learning better ways to enhance your or other people’s music by adding tasteful and exciting percussion.
