Hey Everyone, Our 1st New SF Chapter Meeting was a success....Great Location,(Friendly Service,Stage, Great Sound), A Bunch of very talented folks joined us for the evening!!
During the meeting we introduced the facilitators, Welcomed everyone to join,for Free! and just how easy it is. Introduced what Just plain Folks is about,who are JPF,just how awesome JPF is, and what we can do to get involved! Our chapter decided that we will have a 2nd OPen Mic per month. So watch for the date to be announced!!
Everyone that signed up was able to perform during the open mic...and our host, (Andy Z) did a terrific job!BTW...
We ended the evening with a discussion on "What for you is success in the Music Business" lead by our Co-coordinator,(Matt K)....
Our Next Monthly Meeting is Thursday (3rd of the month) Oct 17th 5:30-8:30pm

Hi Guys, Just an update......Our meeting this month...Thursday Jan 16th will include Guest Speaker Alex Walsh- from the Muscians Union Local #6-"The Benefits of the Union", Alex also was able to attend the Future of Music Summit in Wash, DC earlier this month and will share the experience with us!
Then we will enjoy those attending sharing the music!!!

This Month the above Meeting/Open Mic with Speaker Dennis Juarez May 15th At Starbucks Coffee 2727 Mariposa@ Bryant
5:30-7:30 is the only JPF Event in SF
However the are many other events that JPF Members and Mentors are presenting
Along with several Open Mics that you can make contact with JPF Members!
